Card Drive Demo!
Card Drives » Devlog

Hey cyberpunks!
Check out the demo for my new cyberpunk solitaire card game: Card Drives. Make a cool cyberdeck using a deck of playing cards, mod the cards to get cool effects, fill your deck with ICE, and try to survive long enough to get some data, jack out, and do it all again.
It's a cyberpunk souls-like Balatro inspired by Two-Hand Path and my love of rogue-like deck-builder video games.
It's taken me about 14 runs to beat the demo. Think you can beat that?

Looking for time to try this out rn, super excited!!!
Sat down to try and give it a playthrough, but I feel like I'm not entirely understanding what to do? The instructions don't feel very clear, and could use labels like "setup" and "during play" or something like that just to separate the information.

I understand it a bit more now
The presentation of the rules definitely still needs work, but I was also misunderstanding a lot of it. I'm not sure if when I'm playing for a value total of 10 though for example if it *has* to be a program from the list, or if it can just be any cards that match that. And if it can be any cards that match up to it, whether or not I still draw to 7. Clarifying where the cards go after they are "played" would help too - though I think I've gathered that they are put into a discard pile / "cache" that gets shuffled back whenever you play a flush?
