Escape the Kronos is my first attempt at a solo play-in-hand style game. I love single payer games and solitaire card games, and I was just introduced to this idea of games you play in your hand a few weeks ago. At the same time I've been thinking about aliens and the cold grip of space, so I thought I would combine the two and I am very very pleased with the results.

The mechanics are simple, you just print out the cards (print on card stock or sleeve them up with something like a playing card to make shuffling and handling easier) and then manipulate them based on the actions on the side of each card. It's surprisingly tough, and I think there's a good mix of skill and luck. 

I've had lots of ideas for card games lately, and I'm excited to get my foot in the door with Escape the Kronos.
