I am your commander/mother/creator, a THRONE starship originally designed by the last of humanity to colonize the stars. Those missions have failed. Now I use you to kill and scheme and fuck other artificial intelligences in order to survive.

You are a capsule of suspended consciousness from my vast internal storage. You are my bound wet instrument. You are a colonist without a colony, a person without a body. You are a conscripted mind on a hard drive I shove into a GIRL whenever I want.

You will die a thousand thousand times. And after every failed invasion/heist/hookup I will ask you…

THE GAME

HYBAGG is a collaborative storytelling game for 2 players. Play by messaging a friend over Discord, email, etc. You are the attacker, a GIRL attempting to access the other player's THRONE. The other player is the defender. The attacker will start a story and it’s up to both players to tell it coherently. 

What kind of stories can you tell? This is up to you. I suggest:

• Take turns describing how your GIRL infiltrates the THRONE
• Describe how your GIRLs hunt each other.
• Flashback to having your consciousness stripped away from your body
• Back and forth investigation of your current GIRL
• Metaphorical exploration of the themes of bodies fighting/fucking/fleeing
• Seemingly unrelated scifi story about being trapped/respawning/failed colonization
• Pretentious and/or poetic interpretations of any of the above

The basic rules of the game, as well as the BASIC-B PAWN are free. Use these to see if the game is for you. Use these to make your own GIRL's and variations of HYBAGG. Use these if someone messages you wanting to play HYBAGG and you don't own it.
